ITER is an
international collaboration of unprecedented scope, which brings
together scientists and engineers from the U. S., Japan, Korea,
India, the European Union, Russia, and China working towards the
goal of a demonstration of controlled fusion energy. The United
States has been tasked with delivering a motional Stark effect
diagnostic for ITER. Following completion of a study regarding magnetic
field magnitude measurements using a motional Stark effect
diagnostic, Nova Photonics was awarded the MSE design contract.
